What is a life cycle?
Every living thing goes through a journey of new life, growth, reproduction, and ageing — this is its life cycle.
In this engaging workshop, pupils will explore and compare the life cycles of different animals, learning how living things change and develop at each stage. Using real animals, the session brings science to life as pupils discover how creatures grow, reproduce, and adapt to survive.
Designed to complement the curriculum topics Animals, including humans and Living things and their habitats, this workshop highlights that all living things — including plants — need to reproduce to ensure the survival of their species.
